Complaint Review: Mega Movie Club

They called me saying I would get $500 in walmart gift certs.(Which I never recieved) For just trying there movie club for $4.95. If this was true then why did they charge me 2x for $4.95 and they also charged me $119.90. The told me on the phone I would only be changed the $4.95 for the 30day trial.

I called on 6/24/05 to cancel about a week after this call. The told me that they would send me a request for refund in 14 days. I got the notice and sent it back the same day and the check was supose to come back to me with in 14 days. This never happend I called on 8/25/05 and Ethan an employee told me he would flag the case and the check would arrive in 14 days.

Again no check. The employees didn't want to transfer me to a supervisor however finally on 9/21/05 I got a supervisor name "Angel" She told me the same thing the check will be issued in 14 days. I should have disputted this with my bank to bein with but trusty me didn't till today. Now I'm told I may have waited too long and even if it's not too late it will cost me $25.

This is all B.S. However I"m not a quitter I will keep trying to get my refund one way or another. I have called BBB to report along with the rest of you. WE NEED TO SHUT THESE PEOPLE DOWN AND PRESS CHARGES!!!!
