Megadownloads.com DO NOT SIGN UP!! Durham Other
I placed a google search for downloads online and this sight promised if you pay $4.87 you can download movies and music as much as you want for around 30 or a one day membership for the $4.87. I was looking for a particular album so decided to do the one day thing.
I received a confirmation e-mail and logged back in fine.BUT it only took me straight to a porn sight. Nowhere on the original page was there anything about porn or that they would be charging my account from various websites.
I thought "oh well , $4 is not going to kill me and it's a mistake learnt. What I naive fool I was. I received a letter from my bank today advising me that 3 different websites had charged my account for 3 diferent amounts. I then called the bank , did the necessary and thought well lets google this and see what it brings up.
Low and behold all fraud leads to MEGADOWNLOADPASS.COM. But I it doesn't say that.
The 3 websites my card was charged from were..
1. PMTLOGS.COM
2. HELP4BILL.COM
3. BILLING2000.COM
All share the same contact details and when I did a wider search on the above I have seen numerous complaints of being ripped off by megadownloads.com
