Thank you and the world wide web....This company is good, the check and letter will make a non believer double think and doubt themselves.

When you call them, they tell you to deposit the check in your account and only take $2,700.00 of the $2,900.00 they send you, and then call them back and they will have one of the lottery folks call you to make an appointment and have you sign all the papers to receive the remaining balance of $45,000.00.

This company is good, so be careful...my niece was real close to not being so smart, but thank goodness the banks are closed on Sunday.

Received Megawin Promotional Prices Letter

#3Consumer Suggestion

I too have recently received this letter. As I have not willingly submitted to any lottery, I will at least do what I can so stop potential scam artists. My actions have been as follows:

1) I will be contact TCF bank, upon which the check is drawn, to see if it is valid. There is no law that states I cannot contact anyone to execute a negotiable instrument. The check they have included appears real and I have a duty to verify it.

2) I conduct a great deal of business in Canada. According to the address it should be located just across the street from Mt. Olivet Cemetery. I intend to execute an agreement with some attorneys and the Canadian authorities to visit tomorrow on my behalf.

3) I will contact the company myself tomorrow to ask them to respond on this site as an opportunity to defend themselves.

Have a great night!

"...and then call them back and they will have one of the lottery folks call you to make an appointment and have you sign all the papers to receive the remaining balance."

Could this mean someone would actually visit you with those bad boy papers and pick up the money? If so, you could arrange an "interview" for them. Or would they just ask you to send the money and they would mail those bad boy papers? Or maybe they send nothing?

Maybe you could arrange a conference call with them and the RCMP? That might be interesting.
