Megerian Rug Cleaners Megerian Brothers are rip-offs! Brooklyn, New York
I arranged for a carpet cleaner to clean 11 of the Clubs oriental carpets. Due to some dispute between the cleaner and Mergerian Rug Cleaners they are holding on to $100,000 of our carpets and won't release them. We are shortly moving to have the company owners arrested for theft, but YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED - DO NOT USE THEM!
Mergarian Rugs is a company with no integrety and less respect for the law. They consisteeently attempt to convert rugs sent to them for cleaning for their own use. Beware of these people, they take rugs from rug cleaning jobbers and never return them. They claim that the jobber owes them money so they keep the customers rugs. It is clearly illegal but it is a civil offense called "conversion" not outright theft. The police's hands are tied since they can't get involved in civil issues. If you deal with these people, expect grief. If your Jewish, expect worse.

Great company!
A highly professional, knowledgeable company.
I had four antique rugs restored and cleaned and was concerned that the colors not look too "new."
They were attentive, courteous, cooperative and did a beautiful job.
In addition, Megerian was gracious about storing the rugs until work on our apartment was completed.

I've used Megerian for 15 years and can't imagine a more effective or conscientious cleaner.
My carpets would be in infinitely better shape if I didn't have cats, but I do, and they've spit up hairballs and grass on the white borders of designer rugs and had the occasional accident on them to boot. But no matter what damage has been wreaked by humans and animals alike (a guest once spilled red wine on a light-colored carpet), Megerian has returned my rugs in pristine condition. They're always gracious on the phone and do their best to accommodate my schedule for pick-up and delivery. What more could someone ask for?
