BEWARE OF MEINEKE MUFFLER REPAIR IN

Muffler Broken - Called around - Got a quote of $60 Dollars - but too far away and did not want to get a ticket for broken muffler. Called a Meineke in Turnerville said if it was the same problem then it would be $60 dollars. But turns out the Catalytic Converter was broken. No problem. He said call around and see but I have to charge you $300 dollars. David Got immediately defensive when i was just questioning price.
I did not agree to the repair. called him back in 20 mins and said the Other Meineke said they would charge me $200. He said $300 is it. THAT IS THE PRICE SIR! I said fine then I coming to get my car and take it up there then. He said it is already 90% done. I said WHAT? I did not agree to the repair. He said yes you did, sir. I said , Did i sign something agreeing to the repair. He said if you want to play that game then you can call the cops and the car will stay on the lift until we go to court.
What happened to customer service in this country? Even if your going to charge someone more at least be nice about it.
Now here is the situation. I was 100 miles away from home. I am going thru a divorce and this is the only car I have right now. So the point is for them to get the car on the lift and apparently you have no power once it is in the shop. I did not argue at this point but I do plan on taking this to court next week. I have an appointment with another shop on Monday to take a look at the parts to make sure they are real and not rebuilds or something.
funny though when i came in to pay after he called me to tell me it was done I told him . You have to work on your customer service skills he said no i dont that will be $300 sir.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS PLACE to get any muffler work done. Trust me.

Ive known Mr Pancrazio for nearly 8 years I've had several things done by his company and he has done business with my company, Dave is fair and honerable to do business with. Your comments are way off base and judging by the way you ramble on, you must be some kind of nut case. Certain things go into a quality service, Type and quality of the part, experience of the mechanic and the warranty behind the service. I've been in their waiting room and watched the way they conduct business and how they explain costs to their customers, they are very fair and open about it and let the customer know before hand. Certain instances may dicate they have to disassemble before they know exact price case in point they were installing new rotors and calipers and one of the bolt holes stripped out and they had to replace a bracket, (I was aware of it prior to bringing it there) but the brought it to mu attention for safety sake. Yes it will be another $50.00 for the part but the peace of mind is worth it. One thing you have to realize in his business there is alot of liability he cant do a slipshoddy job because if something happens lawyers would be all over it. Think about your own actions before attacking honest business men

To Whom It May Concern,
The event listed by the "George" character never happened! The Meineke Car Care Center in the report has NEVER had a complaint launched against it with the "Better Business Bureau" or "Consumer Affairs" in the state of New Jersey. We have won the Meineke "Platinum Award" the past three years in a row for customer service. This event never happened!
There was a customer (named George) that came in impersonating a "State Police Officer" complaining about a price he agreed to on a repair. He was mentally disturbed and irrational. We were forced to call Police. He was investigated by the Washington Township Police Department; complaint number 2008-12540014, for impersonating a Police Officer. This lunatic was charged and released. I welcome the author of this complaint to offer some sort of proof to the incident described.
We are very good at what we do and treat every customer with the utmost Respect! It is very difficult to please everyone all of the time, but we try our best. The "report" against us if fraudulent and despicable. I personally wrote to the editor asking the fraudulent report be removed or at least investigated, yet nobody ever wrote back. People often use the internet for their wrong-doing because they know that there is no legal action that can be taken against them. This person named "George" stated he was taken me to court the following week, did he? No! Why is that? If he was treated so badly and wrong why didn't he peruse legal action? Perhaps it is because is vivid imagination made the whole thing up. Maybe he realized that his false accusations and liable statements in a court of law could result in legal action against him. I think these sites are for cowards that want to bad-mouth people with no legal stance whatsoever. If you are truly wronged use legal, lawful actions to seek retribution. That is the foundation of this great Country. Thank you for your time.
