Complaint Review: Meineke Car Care Center

Warning - Do not support this business. You will get ripped off. Instead support one of the local, friendlier, family owned and operated mechanics in town. This place will charge you a premium fee as if they were rolling out the red carpet and then try to pass off the worst service. I have been a return customer but that has ended.

I've had my suspicions that this location was another one of those franchises you hear about, living up to the stereotype, ripping off customers. Figured I would give them a chance to prove me wrong. Instead they are textbook scam artists.

For regular oil changes, you will need to doublecheck the quality of their work. I've had to top off my oil as soon as I get home the last several times. They claim to add oil, but I don't think they can be bothered to get off their butts and do real work.

I brought my vehicle in for annual maintenance and was charged double what the dealership would have charged for work their trained, licensed, and qualified technicians would have done. At the end of the day it was over a $1k for work by lazy, unqualified technicians.
