Complaint Review: meineke care care center of winchester mass.

i got the muffler system replaced on my car by meineke car care center of winchester, mass. they claim that they guarantee the muffler (to replace it if it fails). i brought it back because the muffler rotted out after a short time. the owner (big tall guy with white hair). told me it was too hot to get under the car to fix it. every time i went back he was under an r.v. cars, trucks etc. and they were always working on a number of vehicles constantly. i brought it back on several occasions. once he was working on other cars and trucks but continued to tell me it was too hot to work on my car. i called the main meineke office that oversees the outlets. they just laughed and told me they would tell him to stand behind the products. i had to go to midas to get it fixed. meineke car care centers are rip-offs, don't use them. they say they will stand behind the work they perform but they don't. this outlet in winchester, mass. is the worst. don't give them any business. i had to pay the $200.00 for the new muffler out of my own pocket.
