Complaint Review: Mel Lieberman/ Decorators Model Homes

Almost two years ago I ordered a new bedroom set ($3,895.00) from Mr. Lieberman to surprise my husband when he returned from a fifteen-month deployment. I was saving for ten years for that furniture (we had nothing in our room but a bed all that time), and I wanted my soldier to have a comfortable and beautiful bedroom to rest in after he served our country for so long in less-than-ideal accommodations.

After countless e-mails, letters, and phone calls from me trying to get Mr. Lieberman to honor this purchase, he no longer even bothers to lie to me by any form of correspondence, has not provided me with the aforementioned furniture (he gave so many excuses why it was taking so long, I won't even go into them in this space), and he has not refunded our money.

In my opinion, it takes the lowest form of life to rip off a soldier of his hard-earned military pay, especially when that soldier has been deployed twice in service to this country. I will make it my personal mission to inform every "Family Support Group" in every branch of the military all over the world not to do business with this man and his many companies.
