While Melissa and Doug is a popular toy manufacturer...and there items get good reviews...they are misleading consumers into thinking these toys are manufactured by Melissa and Doug. In fact, they are not!
Before ordering any item from this company, take the time to look at the Product Information link at the bottom on their webpages http://www.melissaanddoug.com/product_information. EVERY product I was about to order was made in CHINA.

Don't be fooled! These toys are made in CHINA!! If Melissa and Doug were upfront with their customers they would list the "country of origin" on each product page rather than trying to mislead everyone into thinking they are made in the US.
