Complaint Review: Melissa Corrie Las Vegas

Melissa Corrie Las Vegas manager, Turnberry Towers, Las Vegas was requested to make a sexual harassment investigation multiple times. Her assistant, Nancy Sarlie , locked a resident in the elevator due to rejecting sexually charged comments. Another “female” who makes racist and sexual comments has short grey hair and works at the front gate, I believe her name is Kathy, is known for sexual and racist comments. I am aware when a female Hispanic friend visited the property, Kathy asked if the guest was a maid. That is both racist and very inappropriate. The front desk was notified of the comment and then Melissa Corrie was notified about it in writing. Weeks later Melissa Corrie has not, to my knowledge, taken any corrective action to stop such racist behavior.

To see total inaction by Melissa Corrie appears to be consistent with Turnberry Towers , 222 Karen Avenue, Las Vegas, ethics. For example, just a few years ago, its executive was arrested by the FBI. It looks like either Turnberry Towers failed to conduct a proper background investigation into head of finances, or allowed a man with a lengthy criminal record access to its internal records and financial naccounts. The FBI stated, “Lazazzaro, who has a lengthy criminal history, was sentenced on August 22 to 51 months in prison.” See press release about Turnberry Towers.

Another fact is that no sexual harassment investigation has taken place that I know of concerning Nancy Sarlie. But such seems in line with Turnberry Towers failing to notify residents and potential residents about the dozens of sex offenders who reside in or next to the high rise condominiums. It is a known fact at least one man roams the property who wears a GPS monitor on his ankle. It is common for sex offenders to be required to wear GPS trackers. Here is an article on this point.

I truly hope racist comments, financial fraud, and sexual offenders are investigated where the residents can feel safe. I urge you to write to Turnberry Towers Association and ask proper background checks are completed and when allegations about racism or sexual harassment take place, that action is taken immediately as unlawful and unethical conduct should not be allowed.
