David and Melissa Maillie aka M.D.W. Enterprises, LLC. operate a web based scam selling what they describe as 50% strength TriChloroacetic Acid commonly called TCA Peel . They bask in their ability to sell cheaply what they describe as a " genuine medical grade TCA peel which can be diluted and is designed to achieve a medium to deep skin peel.

Well folks what ever the heck they put in those little plastic bottles, I can tell you what its not. It is not 50% concentration of TriChloroacetic Acid. I doubt it has any TriChloroacetic Acid in it whatsoever. Its as effective on the skin as tap water, which is funny considering David Maillie claims it contains the same ingredient as the well known and extremely potent OBAGI peel aka Blue Peel

The Maillies make exclusive use of the convenient payment method PayPal, which when a dispute arises are pretty useless.  Using paypal also protects the Maillies from the usual refund protections afforded to credit card users when they feel they have grounds for a complete refund.

When one does attempt to contact the Maillies , they simply igore you. Great business ethic eh? From the little internet research I have done so far, it would appear this scam has been going on since at least 2007. The MO is most people have to remind the Maillies they have indeed placed and order. That suggests to me that the Maillies prefer to take the money and hope the customer will just fade away. Well in my case, after hearing nothing for approx 3 weeks , I sent them an e mail asking when I would receive my order.

I was told that for oversees customers, it could take 3-5 weeks for an order to be processed. Surprise to me as nowhere on their website does it indicate this. But sure enough 8 days later , 28 days after initial order, my package arrived. I immediately did a skin patch test. Its water people, any other ingredient is made negligible by good old fashioned benign tap water.  I immediately contacted the Maillies with my concerns, and true to form, they just ignored me. And they continue to do so.

Now if the Maillies choose to only scam 10 people a week,, that equates to approx $1200.00 dollars a month, $144,000 a year and Im being consrevative because I am not including what they make from the significant shipping charges.

bestskinpeel.com are baically selling water. Their crime is that they claim it to be selling a potent 50% chemical concentrate as used in the well know OBAGI BLUE PEEL and in countless plastic surgery offices. This is a deliberate fraud, their product is about as potent as a souble aspirin and as authentic as the very dodgy looking testimonials published on their website.. And DO NOT BE FOOLED by the picture of an Esthetician's License seen on their website. The NC board who issued the licences for cosmetologists do not license students to manufacture chemical acid peels at home.

DO WHAT I SHOULD HAVE DONE. CHECK THE NET FIRST FOR BAD REPORTS ABOUT ANY POTENTIAL SELLER ON THE NET. HAD I DONE SO, I WOULD NEVER HAVE GOTTEN BURNED. Pardon the pun. DO NOT BUY TCA PEEL FROM THESE criminals. but if you havealready and been conned......EXPOSE THEM.
