Complaint Review: Melnor

I bought two of the Aquatimers 3060,brand new at Home Depot. Neither of them worked satisfactorily. One never powered up, even when touching the keypad and the other only powered up after me touching the keypad, and finished the first cycle. It never began the second cycle. It also reduces the pressure of my already low pressure gravity feed system.

Both units also easily pop the top connector off, soaking me rather completely, I cannot depend on this not occurring in my absence and running all my water out of the tank. (I am limited on solar that fills only in the daytime for now, till I get good batteries). I have animals and they invariably will touch the faucets upon occasion.
