We purchased a puppy from Lobo Puppies. The puppy arrived off the plane very sick. She had an advanced stage of Cherry Eye (only fixed by surgery) and a very bad cold that required antiobiotics immediately from our Vet. My Vet inspected her that day and found that her knees were very deformed, the knee caps were almost not attached to her legs. When we contacted Melody at Lobo Puppies, she said that the dog was find 12 hours before. The Cherry Eye was in a very advanced state and took up almost the entire eye. The cold was also very bad. We were sent a sick puppy that we paid $2350 for and Lobo Puppies took no responsibility. Our only option was to return the puppy, on our own dime.

She also said that all of her puppy nanny's (that accompany the dog on the plane) were booked, so we had to put this poor, sick puppy in cargo if we wanted to return her. We callled the nanny that brought her to usand he was free 2 days that week. Once Melody heard we had spoken to him, he was instructed, by her, not to help us.

I have since done much research and these are bad people. I have read so many complaints, it's so heartbreaking. I know this dog is going to have major problems, but I don't have the heart to return the dog at this point. We have asked Lobo Puppies to at least pay for the pre-existing condition she came with, the Cherry Eye, and they refuse to do so. They need to be stopped. I have contacted the BBB and will not stop until they are off the street for good.

Melody,
I did not send the puppy on the plane because the puppy had severe pneumonia. My Vet told me it was not safe to send the puppy on a plane. The dog was so sick and is still sick. Our puppy has been on antibiotics for 2 months and has been as the doctor every week. If we had not purchased this puppy from you, the puppy would have died in a week. I am one of many, many people who have purchased a very sick dog from you, many of which have died. So, I had no choice but to not send the puppy back.
We have never received the dog's registration papers you promised, the medicine you were sending in the mail to us, etc. Eveything has been a lie. All anybody has to do is "Google" your company name and see that I am just one of many people who have had the same issue with you. To act as if you have done nothing wrong is actually funny. I know of many lawsuits pending against you, so it's only a matter of time before you are out of business, I am confident.
I was stupid to not do my research up front, yes. So, I am letting as many people know, as I can, and get information out there so that the same thing doesn't happen to anyone else.

Lisa

Why not contact the Peoples court . they seem to like stories like yours. The dog has to be fit for purchase and it sounds like yours was not. Also another good idea, do your research BEFORE not AFTER.

I WAITED AT THE AIRPORT

I waited at the airport for your flight number you told me the puppy was on. American Airlines. My puppy nanny hand delivered upon your request your new puppy. THEN, if you did not want her, why not just tell the nanny to take the puppy back? I would have refunded your money then. When I got your calls about the cherry eye which is not covered, I told you just send her back and I will give you a refund. YOU told me all the information and I waited on a FRiday night at the airport for over an hour and called you several times with no answer. Finally, they were closing and I went home. I have tried to do the "right" thing and all I get is you bad mouthing me all over the internet.
