I have received many emails from Memomail, but found the one on affordable cost health insurance of personal interest. The webpage was GoHealth insur-
ance plans (https://plans.gohealthinsurance.com). All of the personal data that was solicited didn't make sense, but I went along in order to see what con game was being perpetrated. I printed out four pages that detailed a plan called Saver 80 allegedly administered by UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company of LA and underwritten by Golden Rule. If this Saver 80 plan really exists it is ludicrous - it covers nothing! Yet its cost, for a family of two, is listed as $424.03 monthly, with a $3500 deductible, and a maximum out-of-
pocket expense of $3000 per person. The 80% payable by this insurance is limited at $15,000. Subtract, for a worse case scenario: $3500 plus 2 x $3000. This only leaves $5500 worth of coverage! Of course, the premiums paid only amount to $5088. Illness and injury are not covered for office visits; or the emergency room, until the $3500 deductible is paid - and an additional $500, if the patient is not admitted to the hospital. I doubt that the owner of the website intended to harm anyone. In a number of states, individuals have to pay for a membership to the Federation of American Consumers and Travelers (FACT) to qualify for this "non-insurance". Some of us want the ripoffs to stop. Are you with us - or them?

You haven't understood the policy.  This is a hospitalization only policy.  The limits that you are seeing are your maximum out of pocket limits, not the maximum the policy will pay.  You can't get good quality health insurance for cheap...have you seen the cost of health care?  Quit being cheap and talk to an agent... they are there to help and will be able to provide a True Explanation of how various policies work.  If you refuse to take their calls....good luck...you will probably end up with a terrible policy from Blue Cross or Blue Shield!
