Memorabilia Autographs Bait and switch Southampton New Jersey
On June 16, 2020 I placed an order with this company (order #9091) for an autographed copy of the album "Walkin' My Cat Named Dog" by Norma Tanega for $99 plus shipping. Allen had the item listed in VG or very good condition. Within an hour of placing my order I received an email from Allen stating that the record was warped an not playable and he cancelled my order. He then informed me that another different album had been listed if i was interested in it.
The new listing was for the same exact,autographed album but the price had been changed from $99 to $199. I feel this is very dishonest business practices. Primarily due to the fact I was told over the phone by Allen that this was a record purchased from a playwrights estate sale. The chance of having a completely different autographed record by an unknown folk artist from 1966 is less than minimal in likelihood. I feel this was an attempt to get an extra hundred dollars for the exact same item.
