Menifee Valley Termite and Pest Escrow termite inspection Menifee California
We had this company come out and do a termite inspection for the sale of a house. The house was built in the late to early 90's. It had the typical dry rot around some of the patio beams and the exterior wood decor beams (nonstructural.) Anyways the report came back quickly with a bill of over $1700 and they could do it immediately. The couple that owns the house are both retired and are moving out of state so every penny they have counts.
I looked online at Home Depot and to replace all the posts that needed to be fixed was about $150. The Company is clearly taking advantage of the situation. I suggested a second opinion, and today the second company came back with a total bill of $450 for the same work.
Do not use or trust this company. The Fact that they would gouge anyone to this extent is crazy. Shame on you Wil Sutton from Menifee Valley Termite and Pest, CA State License # FR 32045

I don't believe that we have ever met. I believe this was you parents home and I get you trying to protect them.(I would do the same for mine). Unfortunately I was not at the house for the inspection on your parents house and maybe if you were there this inspection and repair estimate would have been explained better for everyone involved. I take allot of pride in my business and as you probably know there are allot of extras that go into getting anything done in California (Fees for reports, workers comp, gas, wages, stamps, etc.) I'm sorry that your parents didn't feel good about this transaction and I'm glad that they found someone in the price range they were looking for. î—”
