My car broke down on sunday of a holiday weekend. It was towed by a private towing company on Monday and brought to a ford dealership. On Tuesday the supervisor told me what the problem was. I gave him all the information for the warranty and I read what I needed was covered by the warranty. The supervisor called the warranty division several times and got no answer. Tuesday night he called me to say he was unable to reach the warranty division and had left his number for them to call him back. They never returned his call. Wednessday I called first thing in the morning and did not get a employee until 11:00 AM. At that point he said I was covered for the parts. He claims he did not have the correct number for the ford dealership. After I gave him the number for the dealership he found out they were working on the car and denied the claim. He then called me and said the claim was denied even though the parts were covered because ford was working on the car without authorization. Regardless the car needed to be fixed. I was renting a car because I live 2 hrs. away from where the car broke down. Need I say the rental was not covered. Mr. Hite, who sold me the contract said it was bumper to bumper and I paid a higher premium. Mr. Prochnow said there was no such thing as bumper to bumper. This is a disreputable company and I urge you not to deal with them.
