mercedes benz of white plains are a ripoff and con artist. they will tell you anything to sell you a vehicle. I bought a 2012 mercedes sprinter in august 2012. Was sold to me as a 15 passenger van. Only to come to realize that its only a 12 passenger van. The salesman Leonard Salavatore is a crook and a lier. Do not deal with him. He knew that the van was only a 12 passenger according to mercedes benz and he didnt care , he still sold me the van. I had nothing but trouble because of this and my company got destroyed because of their actions. The so called general sales manager  Peter Wirth is totally incompetent and does not know how to deal with customers. Hes telling me that i can trade in the van  and lose 30,000.00 in one year. thats not going to happen. I will take this matter to the highest level. I refuse to be ripped off after ive given them my money. They will not acknowledge that they had any wrong doing but they are in for a big surprise. Do not deal with this dealership. Mercedes benz of white plains n.y. they are con artists and rip offs.  Even when i brought my sprinter in for service they jerked me and told me that they were over booked. When i had an appointment. Imagine that ?

ok einstein. this is how it goes in case you dont know better. When you walk into a dealership to buy a vehicle, Hope youre paying attention, or am i going to fast ? anyway as i was saying, when you go into a dealership to buy a vechicle , you would expect the salesman to be as honest as possible with the customer right ? ok well this salesman (lenny salvatore) was a big fat liar. He said whatever he had to say to make a sale. He had the extra seat installed by his up fitter . Hes the one that told me about the extra seat. and having it installed by his up fitter, which is only 2 blocks away from the dealership. So dont give me no B S about incompetent. Because remember i am the consumer. as far as im concerned mercedes benz of white plains robbed me. And this is not over yet. The media will be at there dealership very soon..  sorry but thats what happens when you screw a customer.

He sold me the van as a 15 passenger when it is only a 12 passenger..

Interesting word.  A reasonable COMPETENT person would know what they are buying before buying it and at least have the knowledge to know whether or not the vehicle meets with their requirements!  YOU failed to see it was not what you thought it was and YOU went along with it.  Now, despite the FACT you were incompetent, you blame the dealership!  Talk about sorry.  No Einstein, I don't work for them.

You do realize that people come in all shapes and SIZES??? Right. First, the salesman is correct that a 12 seater can fit 15. However if your transporting a batch of large ppl you will have less space, smaller people will give you more space. It wouldnt be comfortable but it would be do-able. Second, I cannot for the life of me see how you plan on getting a ruling in your favor. What preceedent do you plan on useing? Because ANY judge will tell you that you could have seen for yourself that the van only had so many seats. The judge will even ask you if you know how to count. He will ask you if you have a problem with SIMPLE math. You wont be able to sue the dealership over the seats, mainly because ANY sale is a two party event. Both parties need to come to an agreement. The judge will say you knew what you were getting into, because you have eyes in your head, and you could have returned it within the period of time the dealership allowed. Youre going to have to find something better to throw at them in court.

Also an appointment is not a 100% shot at getting in. It is very common for ppl to overbook. This way when the customer cancels the shop keeps going. You really sound like someone just looking for someone to blame for your problems. I understand you might not be happy, but I think you may be going after the wrong ppl. I feel this because your excuses are so very flimsy. And Mercades has deep pockets. So you had a turn of fortune in running your business, it happends all the time. You will need to prove that the three extra seats you didnt have had a direct relation to your business failing. SO unless you were at 100% EVERY trip thats going to be hard to prove.
