This joke of a company that used to go by Mercfgofast on eBay and they changed their name to Marinepowerone for obvious reasons. Everytime they have bought parts and supplies from our company it's a hassle to get paid and in the latest incident, when we finally did get paid, they fraudulently reversed charges on the credit card!
It's my experience that Mr. Robert Bower is a flake and not true to his word! They have a reputation for not paying their bills or not providing the parts you have paid for. The advice here would be not to buy or sell from this company as it will cost you!

I too have been taken by this company (MercGo, Properformance1, Performance1, Marine Power Source) for a (new)engine that has yet to run more than 10 minutes. The owner (Robert (John) Bower has cut off all commmunication once he was backed into a corner by use of his obligations he made within an email.
They appear to be a slight-of-hand type of company. I am out over $11,000 for an engine and install that took place in Miami Glades, Florida. The install garage is in an area that looks like a third world country. No documentation, as promised, and do not believe them when they say there is a warranty. Never buy from these folks!
