Merchandise Direct Charged credit card before informing me of total Overcharged shipping & handling Ripoff Wallingford Connecticut

Saw the product on TV and had a choice of ordering by telephone or on line. Product ordered was buy 1 get 1 free mop for $10, plus addition mop heads for $3.95.

When I went on line there was an "upgrade" available for the heavier duty mop for $15... buy 1 get 1 free

I selected my product and placed the order, expecting to see a format that showed the total products ordered plus shipping and handling. Instead I saw "Your credit card has been charged...

Shipping and handling were DOUBLE the price of the product, making my 2 mops and 3 extra mop heads more than $70

I was never given a choice of cancelling the order or backing out of it, and now I am faced with either keeping the merchandise at this ridiculous price, or returning it at my own expense and hoping the company will refund my money. This company is overcharging for shipping and handling and tricking people into paying it.
