Merchandise Direct/ GPM*Green Bags Charged the credit card for $159.50 for an order of bags that was supposed to be about $37 Wallingford Connecticut
I ordered three sets of green bags that were priced at 9.95 per set with a 6.95 charge for shipping and with the order doubled because of early order. In the course of the telephone call the operator insisted on offering a myriad of other deals to which I responde no to until I finally got disgusted and hung up, assuming that the purchase was cancelled. Today we received 5 sets of the bags instead of six and upon checking my credit card account with the bank find that the charge was $159.50. Fortunately this was all discovered before I used the bags and they are being returned post haste. I will notify our credit card company and have them issue a credit to my account.
