Merchandise Direct, GPM*leather Bag, Fosdick Corp. wanted cancel phone order, not an option, they sent two when only one was ordered. No way to contact them. Wallingford Connecticut

I saw a television commercial for a pocketbook(organizer). I phoned order in, they ask for credit card number and there is no verification or option at the end to cancel order. thought i got stuck with one handbag, however to add insult to injury the sent two. I got charged for two handbags. I am disputing the charge.

The company gives you no option for returns, nor do they provide you with a phone number. They try to tell u on the commrcial that you will receive a free message reminder, then they say there is a $7.95 shpping charge. Also, they say for an additional $10.00 you can upgrade the leather on the bag. You only find out this info once you call and they have your charge card number. It is then too late to cancel as they do not give u an option. I will never order anything for m any company without researching it first.
