Complaint Review: Cardservice International

Aaron Steele,(9285 Teddy Lane, Lone Tree, CO. 80124, 303-706-1494) was my representative, and was nice enough to start my account and promise me low rates, great service and a new Dell computer. However it is difficult for me to recommend using anyone affiliated with Merchant Cardservices or Cardservices International.

Currently I am in the process of getting the doors open to my new busines, In The Zone Cyber Cafe. Startup faze of a new company is brutal, as all expenses come out of pocket.

A purchase was made at my store which cardservices sent to their risk management dept. After funds never became available to my account, I called merchant cardservices to track down the funds only to find that the account was closed, and without my knowledge had taken $1000 out of my business account.

Now Cardservices international is holding $2500 in credit card refunds, and is refusing to release those funds.

Please take a second look at any credit card processing company you may find on the internet or a post card that you may get offering great rates and a new computer. They lure you in and take full advantage of the small business owners.

My store has refunded $2500 but Merchant cardservices/cardservices international will not release those funds to the card holders, making my business responsible.

After being promised a new Dell computer, excellent customer service and what not. Merchant cardservices or cardservice international closed my account, after a transaction they thought was fraud. cardservice international charged me $1000 early termination fee and is now refusing to refund $2500 to a credit card holder. I still have no computer, no merchant service and am stuck with a 3 year lease to my credit card machine.
