     Im a small business owner.  On 7/30/ 2011 I applied to Merchant Commerce for credit card processing service.  On 8/1 /2011 I cancelled the application by phone call and faxed cancellation form that they provided.  I called them to confirm that they received the cancellation Letter.  They said I sent it to a wrong faxed number, (number they provided). I had to send it to different fax number. Then I called again to confirm receipt of the fax.  I was told that I have to send it again, a third time, to a different fax number.



       I spoke to the rep.  And he confirmed the cancellation letter was received, and he said everything will be taken care of with no charge.  But on 8/2/2011 they charged to my bank account $219.95.  I spoke to the rep., he said it was in error, and the money will be refunded within 48 hrs.  While Im waiting for the refund they charged to my account again for $239.95 (8/8/2011).  I called Merchant Commerce repeatedly and they put me on hold for long period of time and promised to call me back, and they have not.



      All I have with them is an application not a contract.  I never received a machine and according to Merchant Commerce I have no contract until the first transaction of their machine. At this time Merchant Commerce has not explained what the charges for, and I still have not received the refund for both charges.
