Merchant Lynx sent a letter with our statement in May,2007 regarding an offer for Internet access to our account. I read the first paragraph and read no farther because we did not need this service. I found out later that the notice stated that unless we call at the end of the month to cancel, we were going to be charged for ths service.

Several months went by before I realized that my company was being charged $9.95 a month. I called the cusomer service number and was told that they had many complaints and that they could only refund 2 months because they had sent us the notice on our statement.
I told the service person that since I was forced into this offer(by not responding)and did not use this service, I needed my money refunded or I would take my business elsewhere. I then asked what kind of contractual agreement I had with there company and found that unless you cancel your original contract, it is automatically renewed also.

After several heated conversations with this company, I have not found anyone at Merchant Lynx that can help me resolve this matter.
