Merchant Services Direct Bait and Switch, Fraudulant Contracts, Fake Employee Names Pasadena, California
This company uses bait and switch tactics. I signed up for a no-contract, month to month merchat service. They sent me the wrong equipment, which was late. After contacting the company and letting them know I don't need their lame services, they responded with "you are on a 3 year contract". I said no way I'm not. Where's the guy who signed me up? "He no longer works here.".
They basically try to force you in a contract by lying to you. Contact your district attornys office and file a report. You can also go to your bank and stop any transactions from Merchant Services Direct.

MSD Response 1/16/13
#2UPDATE Employee
Wed, January 16, 2013
We can assure whoever is reading that MSD has not and will never use fake employee names, and we take any accusations of fraud seriously. In order for someone to open an account with us, they must sign and initial in numerous places on the applications, depending on the type of application. This is done to ensure the customer understands the terms and conditions of their contracts. As this merchant did not provide any personal information, or the name of the independent sales representative they met with, we have no way to verify their claims. We feel this merchant has not acted in good faith by making serious legal allegations about our company, but will not provide any sort of proof of their claims, or that they ever opened a credit card processing account with our company.
