Merchant Technical Solutions, Discover Business Services Hidden billing of $49.95 per month on Discover merchant account; Discover has refused to help Ponte Vedra Beach Florida

We discovered that Discover was billing our merchant account (not our credit card) for $49.95 extra for the past few months, that was NOT itemized or mentioned anywhere on the bill. In other words, after the normal percentage discount rate fees are added up, 49.95 was tacked on to the total without any other reference.

Discover initially referred us to another company (so there are multiple companies that can do this) and then to Merchant Technical Solutions. The latter said they had a recording of the phone conversation approving their billing, and as such have refused to refund anything except the two months of service. Merchant Technical Solutions played us a recording where we said they could mail us information on their service, and then said they don't normally record the call where the victim approves the billing (ha!).

Discover, to date, will only refer us to Merchant Technical Solutions.

Discover's Customer Service Liason (888-347-3204) has told us Discover will be crediting our merchant account after all. See:
