My story is too long so I will get to the point... Steve Bolles is a convicted felon and thank God I found out two days before I was going to invest $75,000 with him to open an MBE franchise with him in Boston.  I really took his bait and got great feedback from all the referrals he gave me, but then my wife discovered that it was odd that all three of the business referrals he gave us did not have their telephone numbers listed. That's when we did and internet search and fund they were all prepaid mobile telephone numbers.

That's when my wife called the Better Business Bureau and got the below links emailed to us with a notice that MBE "is not now, nor ever was a member in good standing with the Better Business Bureau" even though Bolles showed me a letter supposedly from the BBB that says they had an "admirable record" and were members since 2005!  The letter was obviously a forgery, and the referrals were paid shills. Then my wife went hunting on the internet and saved me from making a huge mistake when she came up with more links like the BBB sent us. Here are some of them.  Why isn't this bad guy behind bars?

(((links redacted)))

People need to beware because both Steve and his wife Marti are super smooth talkers and they have great looking brochures and a convincing web site - even advertorials that are disguised as "radio talk shows".  It make it all look so real and legitimate. And when they go into their "born-again Christian" skit, they seal the deal with their "Lord's will to help others" B.S. !!!!!

File Attorney General report

I was swindled by this man in 2013 and have filed with the attorney General of PA. The agent there said that  we are businesses doing business with each other so they don't consider us under the consumer trade issue but that they could take a look at it if they had more complaints showing a pattern .  As long as Merchant Barter Exchange is  in the title of the filed complaint  the complaints will link up in the system.  You should go online on the AG web site and fill out a complaint. I did and I didn't loose as much as you did. He did business with me as Rob Stephens of River Rock Trade . A barter company. My payment went through their paypal account that was to Merchant Barter Exchange INC.
