I received a letter earlier this month from a Ken Hughes a "collection agency representative" with Merchants credit Guide Co.-talk about Christmas cheer! The letter claimed I owed $3,305.46 and had a few payment plan options. I had a rep call to my house the other day and I told her she had the wrong number because I was scared (I had flashbacks from dealing with creditors years ago).

Years ago, I had a few charge offs which credit card companies weren't able to collect (I was a kid and was barely able to make ends meet-now I'm an adult barely able to make ends meet!) Any how, that was years ago and I paid for the debts with years of rotten credit. It makes me so mad that they can come after me after the Statute of Limitations has long since expired. But since there is a limit, they need to honor that and I'm going to let them know I won't pay them a d**n cent. I paid every time I tried to get approved for something and was turned down. F*** them. I will consult an atty. if needed and I will share the advice. We've got to stick together.
