mercury insurance is a scam. they lied, cheated, deceived, and totally ripped off our small struggling trucking company. from an original quote of 55k, ending up w/quote of over 110k in a matter of weeks. our agent couldnt even understand the illegal procedures that took place.

we are now indispute w/jna, a collection agency, (out of california, go figure) who is threatening our company to proceed w/litigation. mercury is so lame..they hardly returned phone calls to us or our agent and then sent us this huge debt we never actually incurred.

how preposterous...how unamerican...how dare anyone in a free nation to be so intimidating, yet evasive and cowardly by throwing us to the wolves...a collection agency with no integrity. they are all cowards and liars. what has this country come to? god help those who rip others off for their own gain. it's all about the do re mi....and it always will be. little people like us do not matter, but i wont go down without a fight. not when i know i have integrity and i dont lie to make a buck.

never deal with this company for commercial or auto or any other type of insurance. there are companies out there who have integrity and honesty. thank god

As a licensed agent in Florida, and as on who handled claims in a multitude of states.

The writer of the Rip Off report does indicate problems not uncommon enough in our industry.

Moreover, I would suggest that any one who has an insurance problem, from a claim, underwriting or coverage perspective, to contact and file a formal complaint or a request for assistance with that person's State Insurance Regulators.

The following link is the contact information for the each of the 50 State's insurance regulators offices: http://www.consumeraction.gov/insurance.shtml
