Complaint Review: Meritcare Sanford Clinic Fargo Region

I took my son to this walk in clinic, he did not have a job or any income. The admissions clerk told us that the charge would be $25.00. I questioned the charge, but she reassured us that it was the total charge. Now he is getting a bill for $71.80. I realize it is not that much, but when you do not have the means to pay, it makes it hard. The clinic should make sure that they tell their customers that the $25.00 charge is just a co-pay, then it gives the person the opportunity to go there or find a clinic that they can afford.
