Meritdirect Insurance Secret Shopper Scam with large BAD CHECK enclosed. Rye Brook New York
I received a letter about becoming a secret shopper. Enclosed was a check for 1992.41 for my first week. I was to deposit the check, then complete assignments. I knew it had to be a hoax, and viola!, it was indeed. I don't know why they would do this or what they expected to get from me.
