I purchased a new Hyundai at Family Hyundai (Dan Nelson MOtors) in Rapid City, SD on July 6, 2005. On July 8, Meta Bank seized the dealership, and has not Paid-Off" the loan balance on the vehicle I traded-in when i purchased the new vehicle.

I have spoken, written, and e-mailed Meta Bank over seventy times in the past 25 days, and yet they still HAVE NOT paid-off my trade-in. I have been lied to and promised that this would happen, but it never does. I am now paying for 2 vehicles (The new one I purchased, and the one I traded in.)

I do not know where my traded-in vehicle is, and Meta Bank is making no effort to tell me. All I can say is that I HAVE BEEN RIPPED-OFF and no one seems to care. How can this bank accept the funding for the new vehicle, but not honor the signed contract.?

I have contacted the U.S, S.D. Ioqa, Minnehaha County Attorneys General. I have had articles printed in the Argus Leader and Rapid City Journal, and yet nothing gets done. The actions of Meta Bank are unfair, but more troubling is the fact that there seems to be no one who will address this violation of the law.
