In April 2002 was the first time that I was purchasing a vehicle and was also the last customer of the day (9:00 pm). I had informed the salesman that I was interested in buying a vehicle(2002 Montero Sport)and not leasing. The price was not on the vehicle and had requested the total cost but was never given one.

When they wrote out the contract and was about to read it the salesman said I could read it later since they were closing already and he had to travel to my boyfriends employ so he could co-sign. The salesman followed me to his employment and had him sign the contract outside his employment. When I asked for a copy of the contract he said they would have to mail it in since they had closed.

About a week later I received the contract via mail and was upset, disappointed, and confused with the contract. The contract stated the following:
$43,000-Balloon loan (lease) @ $550.00/mth

I did go back to the dealer and requested the contract be amended, however, the General Manager said it was to late and I should have gone back no more than three days after being signed. How could I if my contract was mailed a week later? Which should not have been done in the first place.

MITSUBISHI HAS NO CONSIDERATION FOR ITS CUSTOMERS AND ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED.
