Metro PCS Unbelievable, But Not Surprised Dallas Texas

It is not so surprising, but definitely upsetting that I could not resolve a dispute with the Flat Rate Wireless company "Metro PCS".

I have had no luck contacting customer service via my cell phone since last month (the robot on the other end continually says ("were sorry we cannot connect you with customer service at this time, please visit our web-site), Furthermore yesterday I was given an 888 number that finally did work but to no avail, my complaint fell on deaf ears.

My Complaint:

I have 3 phone numbers on the same account with Metro, I pay my bill for all three through this Metro account. I called Metro PCS via my cell phone to install the "free" Travel Talk system on my phone (the robot customer service would not connect me with a live person and subsequently directed me back to the Web-site). I went to the Metro PCS store and the Customer service person was able to install the service (so they said). I went on my trip and my Travel Talk did not work. I was unable to obtain access to the funds that were supposed to be connected to this service called "Metro Connect".

Yesterday, I was trying to get the same service added to my third line and to make sure my funds were available. However they told me that the "Metro Connect" funds were only available to the number (singular) they were originally funded for (not the account). I asked to speak to a manager and they told me they were non-transferable. I explained to them that I pay for all three phones on one account and why are my "Metro Connect" funds accessible to my whole account, but they insisted that they could not help me.

I asked them to reverse the charges for the $40.00 in "Metro Connect" and have them return them to my credit card and they told me that the funds were non-refundable and the manager disconnected me from customer service.

I need some help here, It's not about the money ($40.00). It's about the Customer Service and Lack of the Service. Companies like Metro PCS should be held accountable for their lack of a solid "customer based" business plan.

Oh yes, I was also until yesterday a PCS stockholder. I have since sold my shares and will have nothing more to do with this company.

Do what you can, but I doubt you can get any farther than... HELLO, HELLO, HELLO!!!!

We've been customers of Metro PCS for over a year now and love it. It is a very basic service geared toward a specific clientel. You won't get any bells and whistles here, or at least, not as many as the "big guys" claim, but you do get dependable, reliable service without the hassles of the "big companies" who send you in the never ending loop of nobodies when you do have a problem. As for us, we've been satisfied, always connected with a live human when we've had problems (which are rare) and everything is instantly squared away. Customer service is local, not outsourced, and our Travel Talk has always worked for our phones when we've done it "properly." Anyway, no frills, small company with a big attitude of service without expensive costs...with continuing increased coverage.
WE LOVE IT!
