My family stopped into our drive in Storage unit to quickly grab some items that we were going to take to sell to pay for the rent. The power went out shortly after we arrived. That wasn't the problem though. The problem was that we were stuck inside for 3 hours with our hungry 9 month old baby. We were going to pick up some food for her right after we stopped in. The garage door wasn't installed or inspected for proper functionality. The string that you pull to open the door manually was not working properly and had missing parts. (this is a brand new facility that opened in 2012, it should be up to code). I asked if they could give one month of free rent to cover our major inconvenience, they didn't do anything about it. I paid my bill after I found out the disappointing news. They then double charged my bill and drained my account leaving me with nothing for the weekend. They should at least give me a month of grace. I'm moving my stuff out of the unit due to their incompetence.
