I am upset regarding the vast price difference between the estimate of $759.00 and the actual price charged to me of $2079. I gave an accurate list of the items in my move and the day of the move my representative started adding in "packing expenses" for thing such as wrapping chairs that was not included in the estimate. I was given a more accurate price quote of $1500 for the move from another moving company and would have gone with them, and will be in the future, had I known about the price increases that were being planned. I questioned why the quote was so much lower and was told it was because I was not considered a long distance move by this company. This is obviously untrue and they just use the low quote to get people to sign up and then they are stuck when the day of the move the price keeps increasing. In addition a halogen lamp was damaged during the move and the movers left 15 minutes before the time they had me sign them out for. I was also forced to fill out a positive review while the representative was hovering over me. He then suggested I give him and his three men a 20% tip on the overall amount. Overall the business practices are poor and untrustworthy.
