Complaint Review: MetroBank

Last week, I was summoned by MetroBank in Kennesaw (the branch that operates out of an unmarked trailer in an empty field), the bank where I've had a small business account for the past 7-8 months.  I've had difficulties making a go of my small business and the account has been idle. 

Upon entering the trailer, I was summoned by the bank manager into her office where she proceeded to grill me with questions like "What type of business are you in?" "Who do you do business with?" "Who is going to be paying you"? "Where do your employees live"?  "Will you be sending electronic transfers" and other completely out of line questions like these.  (I'll reiterate that the account was opened with $500 and there were two deposits made totaling another $200 during tax season.  The rest of the time, the account has been idle.)  At this point, the woman told me that they "do not do business with Cubans and Cuba" and left the room.  When she returned, she had closed my account and handed me a check for $700.  This bank - and the branch manager in particular - are a bunch of racists and a danger to the public.
