Complaint Review: Metropolitain Roofing - Kathleen Whalley

In August 2012,  I rented my home in Kirkland, PQ to KATHLEEN WHALLEY who claimed to be the owner of  METROPOLITAIN ROOFING on the lease agreement. I checked her references and she appeared to be a good tenant.

Within a couple weeks of her moving in I started getting complaints from neighbors and the City of Kirkland regarding commercial trucks parked in the driveway, excessive noise late at night and the police had to show up on more than one occasion.

After one month the rent started to get paid rent late ( cash only) and recently she was evicted in January 2013 after 3 months of nonpayment of rent. I have a decision from the Regie des Logements.

The most despicable thing was the condition in which she left the house . There  were at least 10 holes in the walls, severe stains and burns on the hardwood floor and I have now accumulated 10 boxes of junk left in the home. 20 boxes of documents from Metropolitan Roofing were left in the house.

PLEASE do not do business with the company or rent to Kathleen Whalley unless you want to be ripped off or have your home destroyed.

I am pursuing her and her company for over 10 thousand dollars including all the damages she inflicted on my home. I have pictures and a video of the state she left my house in.
