Metropolitan Education Enterprises ripoff, cursed me out, called me a liar, hung up on me, not all contract items sent Chicago Illinois

My husband and I are military. So, when we got approached by a man offering us a way to do college basics classes and have future school material for our son we were intrigued. Well, we were wrong to ever have listened.

First of all we haven't recieved everything we were told we were going to be getting, in almost 2 years. Then, the price was crazy. It was 94 bucks every two weeks (and when you are military you don't have much to spare). Then I tried to call and cancel only to be told I was supposed to cancel within a week of signing the contract. We didn't even recieve our items until like 2 or so months later.

First we recieved a shirt and a lil book for our future children. There was nothing in there about helping them with all this school stuff like promised. Then I got a set of encyclopedias, medical encyclopedias, and a few books on how to take the college level entry prep tests. We were never given a website to go to, or a place to go take the tests at.

Well, time went by and banks changed and our account fell a little behind. So I started a bill pay to have it taken out automatically. They continously harassed me and my family (while my husband was in Iraq) about the past due and then proceeded to take aim at my personal life and finances. We just switched banks and one payment went back on accident and now they are taking us to court.
I tried to call and give them their money and our new account numbers and for my troubles I got cursed out. My husband took the phone and had no luck either. The next day after I cooled down I attempted again.

I was sent to the Unit Manager Mr. Mason where he told me "too bad we are going to garnish your wages. good day" and promptly hung up. I called back to speak to someone just to be called a liar when I told the employee that Mr. Mason cursed at me. I was told that They would take me to court for lying about that.

This company is a TOTAL ripoff as well as terrible with their customer service. So, if you ever get approached by someone with Metropolitan Education Enterprises, Walk Away! Especially if you are MILITARY!
