Metlife repeatedly stole funds via direct deposit without permission and misapplied premiums. When confronted would refuse to respond for months and then lie and inform the State Division of Insurance that the matter had been settled and it was all a mistake. I can understand not only once, but several times to be a mistake, but over a dozen consecutive 'mistakes' after each and every one had been challenged and they had to be thrown off of access to accounts is hardly a mistake.

When I confronted them on the last misapplication of funds (almost $2000.00 in premiums) they first refused to respond for months, and then lied and indicated that the funds came in late. Only after I forced the discussion to a supervisor and explained that I had the cancelled check that they had cashed a month prior to the date they were claiming to have finally received the check that she admitted that it had been 'misapplied' and that it was 'merely a mistake'.

If I was to repeatedly steal thousands of dollars over years, I would not be allowed to claim 'mistake" every single time, and I would undoubtably be jailed after a dozen such attempts. Why do they think they can continue to pull this?
