Had my 2001 S40 Volvo repaired at Metropolitan Volvo approx. April 2007. The cost was almost $3000. Meanwhile this Dealership has been sold and changed there name to: Fields Volvo. They are stating the old owner and Service Manager sold out and went to a new place called Celebrity Nissan. Fields Volvo stated that they are not responsible for ANY work done under the name Metropolitan. I was told to call Celebrity Nissan. I tried to contact Celebrity Nissan but to make a very long story, short-They said warranty was only for 90 days. Per Volvo of North America all warranty work is for 1 year.

I ended up paying another additional $3000 for the POOR workmanship and their non-ablility to take responsibility under their warranty. I have letters from the new repair shop that had to refix there work. I also have ALL parts that are defected. I have hired an attorney and I have all communications from myself and Volvo, Nissan, and Volvo of N.A.

Beware of: Fields Volvo / Celebrity Nissan in Orlando Florida.

Volvo of North America Customer Service would not take responsiblity of this issue either.

I will never buy a Volvo product again and neither will anyone in my family or friends or there friends or there friends.
