I was excited to be at the MGM and to try the MGM Grand Buffet.  I was immediately disappointed.  The cost was $39.99, which isn't incredibly high, but the food was aweful.

The dinner was a mish mash of meat and asian food, with greasy American food.  The Dessert bar was microscopic in comparison to fantastic resorts like Ameristar Blackhawk.  It was pitiful.  They even served a fish called "SWAI" which is a cheaply farmed fished imported from Vietnam.  For $3 per pound! 

Shortly after the buffet, the tummy rejected what little I at at the buffet.  Soon after I had cramps and barely made my flight home.  Diarrhea set in, I was confirmed to have food poisoning.  It happens, I understand that.  It's a risk where dirty people are touching food or where food is poorly prepared.

The greatest problem lies in the fact that MGM Grand offered a comped Suite on my next visit.  Howver, when they found that I tweeted about it, they recanted and lectured me that the deal was, shut my mouth and you get a suite. 

Additionally, the staff across the board are rude and condesending.  I have stayed in Vegas so many times and never encountered the s**t factor of MGM.  I would not let my dog stay there. 

If you get food poisoning, MGM will attempt to have you report it to security. This is not kosher.  It needs to be reported to the state at http://southernnevadahealthdistrict.org/foodborne

I have offered MGM the option to offer me a room at a similar Casino.    I have written to the CEO, Mr. James Murren.  MGM Grand could be a better place with better people.
