We initially received a call from a Chris King stating they had a client ready to purchase our timeshare for $23,000. All they needed from us was $1798 to take care of the title search and other paperwork. He assured me they were ready to buy that evening. I stupidly gave my visa number to them and then checked my email for the contract. I also did a Google search on the company which through up a red flag so I checked the BBB website and discovered an F rating. I replied to their email that I would not sign and to refund if they already charged my card. They called me and said it did not matter and I could not cancel. I filed a dispute and canceled my credit card immediately but the charges had gone through already. Shortening up, they kept calling me and claiming the buyer was always 2 more weeks for the loan needed. 3 months later, my credit card company honored the dispute and refunded my card. MGM (Steven Henderson) called to say everything went through except the dispute was stopping it. Now we needed to sign a contract so the title company would process the sale. I imagine that if we did, the sale would fail and the process would start again. Don't give them the time of day let alone your credit card information.
