MGM Universal Timeshares Stated that they were able to sell our timeshare within 60 days. Sparks, Nevada
The man that called from this company his name was Jan Morgan. He stated that he currently had a buyer that wanted to purchase my timeshare and that it would take 60 days to send me a check. He said that he was able to sell it for 48,400.00 total. After giving me all this information, which sounded to good to be true he ask for my credit card number. I was puzzled because if they are a big corporate company shouldn't they pay all up front fees. Then once they collect the money from the buyer the company will deduct was owed to them. Well I ask him for what and he stated that they needed to pay their legal fees.
I ask him what was the company name that would take care of all the paper work. He said that it was the same number but different extension. So I ask them if the company worked in their office he said yes. So I thought to myself if all paper work will be done their why do I have to pay them up front. So I ask them that question and he said cause their personel work by the hour, which sounded weird. So I ask them for their website and I pulled it up which looked really nice but still not quite convencing. I then went to google and typed their company name and they were in the Rip Off Report. I am just stunned to see how people are so sick and will try anything to steal money from others. I encourage everyone to verify the company before releasing any information to them.
