Conned by experts, I am but one of many of the latest victims of Government Grant Fraud. While researching Government Grants to start up a small business, I stumbled uponmgr-solutions.com

I filled out an information form, and within a few days a man calling himself 'Charles Newman' called me. He was very insistent, and optimistic that he would be able to help me acquire $75k to launch a vending business. All I had to do was mail him a cashier's check for $149, and then he would send me the forms that I needed to fill out.

I was suspicious up front, and decided that if anything went wrong I would NOT be sending him more 'application fees.' He assured me that the $149 was all that I would ever have to pay. After I agreed to it, he emailed me a very unprofessional contract that basicaly relieved MGR Solutions of all obligations. The only way for me, legally speaking, to get back my money is by producing three original 'denial letters' from various Federal agencies.

The catch? Nothing else is garunteed. In the contract, they do not garuntee service, satisfaction, or anything. So, basically, they pocket the $149 and I never here from him again.

Sure, the 1-877 number he gave me led to their 'office,' which is probably nothing more than an a condo in Houstan. I never reached Newman again, though I was always told to leave him a message. With the dozen phonecalls going back and forth, I have spoken with three different people. They claim to have eleven employees, but I'm counting three.

Legally, I don't think that there is anything I can do. And, one of these days, I might just get the forms after all. If anything happens, I'll update this rip-off report. After all, I just wanted a grant. If they come through, they come through.

Refund Given

On Monday, May 15th, I recieved a check for $149.95 from MGR Solutions, and I deposited it in my account.

MGR Solutions has resolved this issue, and I am satisfied. It was an internal issue with their systems, and my file had been 'red-flagged' for one reason or another.

The delay in the reciept of my package was due to technical problems, rather than human error. In any case, I relieve the company of any further obligations, and wish them luck and success in the future.

I will not be pursuing a government grant at this time, because I have decided to further my education and will not have the time or energy to start up a business.

Best regards,

I finally recieved the "package" on May 8th, 2006. The "package" was just a questionaire that I was supposed to fill out, and using the information I gave them, they were going to type the data into a database and search for the grants I was elligible for.

Just today, May 10th, I was contacted by the head manager of MGR Solutions. He apologized for the internal delays, and has even promised me a fully refund of the $150.00 that I mailed over there back in March.

The manager was very gracious, and they are conducting an internal investigation.

When/if I recieve the refund, I will update this report.
