Complaint Review: MHC Kenworth Joplin Mo

August 2017 I found a used 2014 T660 online for sale thru MHc Joplin. I was looking to replace a truck that had been totaled in an accident.

  I corresponded with a salesman by email and requested pictures and history on the truck. I was sent the pictures and no history. I visited the dealer on my next trip thru and saw the truck first hand.  I asked for a hose to be replaced and again asked for history on the truck. I found out it was a local owner so I went to the service dept and tried to get the service history, but I was told that the previous owner did all their own work, but they could tell me it had been in for DPF cleaning the previous spring and had the mileage available for that.  I purchased the truck the end of August and flew to pick it up. 

350 miles after leaving the dealer I had a check engine light and a de-rate on the truck. I called the dealership -now after hours- and gave them the code and was told it needed to be seen and to take it to the next KW which would be Ft Worth MHC. It was in the shop for 18 days!!!!!  Even though I purchased the extended warranty it was somehow not covered now. 

Truck has been in the shop 8 times for the same codes/problems. Now I find out from one dealership that they can see there had been codes cleared in Joplin for issues that were obviously not fixed. The truck has an extensive history that was not provided to me when I asked for it, they went so far as to HIDE things from me. I have spent thousands of dollars (current shop visit is now over $12,000 to fix the issues it has) and now am severely in debt and have lost 10s of thousands in work because of the time spent in the shop.   They have effectively destroyed my business and put me into bankruptcy.

 MHC Joplin, among others but for this particular situation I am focusing on Joplin, are liars, cheats and will do anything to make a sale no ,after what the consequences to the customer.
