Complaint Review: Steve Batten

Miami Palmetto Senior High School has become nothing but a police state!!! While you think your students are inside learning and you are off to work the REALITY is the police are being allowed in and your kids are being ordered into the hallways while dogs and cops are illegally searching and seizing their personal belongings! Did you know this?

Today cops that are super welcomed on the grounds we are guessing by the top of the staff all the way down to a Steve Batten continually arrest and drum up bogus charges such as battery to an officer when they were indeed never even touched or spoken to.  The Pinecrest cops (that do not deserve a badge or have any honor) name Portello and Oliva were caught on video harassing then assaulting a 17 year old student today.  They attacked him to the ground and then cuffed him and took him to "batten's office" (their words).  They don't even mention the proper "Mr. Batten". 

They then kept the minor locked up in the police car for over an hour while they ate their McDonald's food on the trunk of the cop car.  After discussing the fact that multiple people were in view of their abuse of power, they in their infinite wisdom decided to "un-arrest" the minor. 

One of the same Pinecrest cops...Oliva, was investigated internally for telling a 14 year old to get off a public sidewalk when he was just walking on it during school hours (he was a homeschooled student) and after she called the parent to confirm he wasn't in a public school, not only got her confirmation but then hung up on the parent.  She then, out of earshot of the parent, told the 14 year old that she would "ARREST him if she saw him on the sidewalk again".  The parents called and made complaints of which an internal investigation was opened and ultimately closed as the "Pinecrest Chief didn't see anything wrong with it."

The students get yanked out of classes for uniform checks and lined up against the wall and go through an hour long process just over a t-shirt.  They get pulled from classes to serve in school detentions instead of after school.  Obviously learning isn't important to the administrators. 

The school hires 'security guards' that walk around the school like they are soldiers for Hitler himself.  If you are a parent you've seen their cold empty stares in the early morning hours.  The security guards while on the payroll, spend nearly their entire day on their cell phones conducting personal calls.  They have no personality, no people skills, no love for students, no business being in a high school environment with our students.  They have a prison guard mentality yelling much of the time at our kids like they are cows that need to move along. 

The school has serious issues and there is a large group of parents are becoming more and more fed up.  We will be opening several social media pages in regards to this until the school cleans up their act.  The students and parents are filming and at this time we have plenty of video of which will be posted.  We have plenty of staffers caught in the act. 

IF We the parents are rating Palmetto Senior High school they get an F-

and if Pinecrest Police don't do something about the cops that are getting complaints then they'll continue to get an F- rating as well.  We are watching and filming..........
