I hired Majors Remodeling on May 11th to perform roofing & carpentry repairs on my house & outside buildings following a bad hail storm.

They began to strip my sheds of materials on may 15th, continuing on the 16th. They did not show up again until the following Sat. evening to discuss the owners injuries sustained by his employee shattering his jaw (no work performed that day). Work then began again on may 25th. Michael Hiser made claims that they would work 10 hour days due to time lost. In reality, he showed up the first 3 days @ 7am & left @ 2pm while taking lunch from 12-1 or later. He soon began to show up later & later each day while sometime leaving immediately after returning from lunch.

He decided to use particle board for different decking pieces instead of plywood. The valley decking pieces he repaired or replaced were separated by up to 3". Tar paper seams were not seamed properly in some areas. There are 1" gaps of no paper or shingles where house joints meet. Not all attic fans were replaced nor installed properly. The wrong size boards were used along the facia, sub-decking, joints & other areas.

material, labor hours & support service prices were also inflated substantially.

During the repair cycle, a storm passed through. Water wound up pouring in portions of the house resulting in ankle deep water, "pregnant" ceiling, water pouring in through light fixtures & ceiling fans, bubbling out from the wall base boards, swelling & musty mold smell. He did offer to repair the water damage & to finish the agreed upon work days later. He did not return repeated calls initially when I called to report the circumstances.

On June 6th (the agreed upon completion date), I had to fire him since I had little faith in both workmanship & timeliness of completion. There were several days of no call/no show within the last 10 days of work. When asked to discuss the concerns, him & his worker became extremely confrontational (threatening bodily harm & property damage) resulting in 4 police officers responding to a 911 call from neighbors due to his yelling & actions.
