Complaint Review: Michael Kanai Southern Rehab

Michael Kanai, a vocational rehabilitation counselor with Southern Rehab in Hickory, NC probably gave me the most horrendous health care service I have ever received in my nearly 60 years. I was hurt on my job and had to have surgery. Afterwards, Mr. Kanai was to help me get back to work. His number one priority was the insurance company that hired him. He continuously had me applying for jobs that I was not qualified for. He did a resume for me that had false information in it. When I asked him about it, he blamed it on me, saying I had given him the info. I don't think I graduated high school at 11 years old, and I should know that I didn't go to college. After numerous complaints to the insurance company that hired him, they finally terminated his services and got me a new counselor, who got me back to work within two months. Please take caution if you ever have to deal with this guy or Southern Rehab in Hickory.
